About
Dana Spaeth has been a professional photographer for 30 years. Schooled by the best, Dana is highly skilled in both natural and artificial lighting and she is able to master even the trickiest of lighting scenarios. Her early career in NYC focused on advertising and editorial photographic illustration with clients such as US News and World Report, Forbes, Parenting magazine, Hallmark, Penguin books, and Simon and Schuster. Later, Dana moved to the Bay Area and continued with portraiture, family photography, still life, fine art, and branding. Her work is represented by renowned picture agency, Getty Images, and her photographs have been published all over the world. Dana maintains a beautiful, light filled studio in the iconic Industrial Center Building in Sausalito- home for over 100 artist’s studios. She's a mother of three, a lover of nature, laughter, and general silliness, and a fierce activist for common sense gun laws. In the past few years, Dana has shared her focus on photography with a return to her roots in painting.
